The supermarket variety, which are usually round in shape lack the fine taste and flavours of the oval shaped coriander seed that comes from India. Around the world brewmasters and distillers use the Indian oval shaped coriander seed to give that clean and crisp lemony, citrusy flavour to this beverages.

You can order whatever quantity you require, but about 10-15g is the most you would want to use to infuse your base spirit with the coriander seed flavours.
